a creative man to me - it must be lilian (陳綺雯). haha.

in fact. we were studied in the same secondary school. but in different classes. so we knew each others for a long time already but we didn't communicate much. but God pull us together. last year we studied in 僑大 together. came to ntpu together. and we are in the same department! just like magic. and it's so good that we can always talk about our old days in secondary school. but why I think that lilian is a creative person. it's becoz she is an artist. she is a master in art I think. she draws very well and her drawings always amazed me. it's so fabulous. as we are also roommates. I can always see her drawings sticking on the door. it's warm to see posters celebrating festivals (esp. for an overseas student)and it's drawn by lilian herself. on the other hand. I think creative is very important when producing an art. so I first think of lilian when talking about creativity. ^^

B) What do you think of this performance?

The world is developing continuously, but at the same time, we are damaging our own planet. If we keep on destroying it without stopping, disastrous effects will be the subsequences. From the video, what amazed me is beats of music. It gives me a deep impression about the how serious present problem is. I will not forget what they have done. The BLUEMEN succeed in conveying environmental friendly messages to us in this humorous way !



Part II About global citizenship


A) In what ways do you think you are already a global citizen?

Once we have the right, we have the responsibility. If we want to have the right to live on the Earth, we have the duty to protect and maintain it. As a global citizen to the government of the Earth, we obey laws from the government; therefore, we should also obey the natural law.


B) How can you become a better global citizen?

In this case, I think the followings are a few practical ways to make me a global citizen:
1. don't buy excess food and cause wastage. just buy the amount you think you are able to eat.
2. as a student, it's easy for us not to waste papers.
3. use less tissue paper but using other things to substitute. such as handkerchief.

I've checked that CEP's website.
realized that I have a lot to improve.
my English really SUCKS.
my level - I think A2-B1.
and I think my reading ability is better than my listening and oral.
as I'm lack of practices in L & O.

and I'm now doing these:

• 1. reading English novels. the novel that I introduced to you guys last time - CHARLIE AND THE GREAT GLASS ELEVATOR. I've already finished that. I'm now reading a new one. called FOR ONE MORE DAY. it talks about the past story of a baseball player who had committed suicide before. I think this is interesting as it talks a lot about the personal experiences.
• 2. go to the ENGLISH CORNER. I've been there last Monday and I think it's excellent! we formed into a small group. using ENGLISH to communicate with each others. it is very relaxing just like some social gatherings. we have a theme every time and last time it's about "FOOD". I love that because I love to eat!
• 3. try to prepare lesson before hand. umm... just try. because I'm quite busy in fact. = ="

I think I'm doing quite okay to improve my English. as I usually bring along a novel when I'm going out. I read it whenever I have nothing to do. I think it's a good habit and I will keep it on. Hope that I can see my improvement very soon.

GOAL

just now heard from my roommate, we have to set a goal for ourselves.
below are areas that I want to improve:

1. GRAMMAR" I think this is a disaster, it has been torturing me from the time when I was a kindergarten student. I hate it, but I need to love it. I need to use it when I use english. OMG! my grammar is really poor. = ="
2. LISTENING" I really wish I can fully understand what they are talking about when I watch the "Desperate housewives", "American's next top model", "News round up", etc. sometimes others ask me what the TV characters are talking about, I feel ashamed and my mouth turns to letter O!
3. ORAL" I will be so so happy when I can speak english fluently without thinking of those grammar, sentence structure, etc. at that time, I can fly... ^^"

also there are still many things I need to upgrade myself, esp. vocabs. but...... I'm so sleepy, I need to rest, maybe tell you next time.

btw, it's really gd to meet you all, nice guys in taiwan. especially for me, a girl from macau.
