My Comprehensive English Enhancement Plan for 2007-2008 School Year

English has always been important during obligated education through my life. However, what I have done was only the least a student could do, that is to study only for school examinations.

Therefore, by this chance, I am hoping to set myself up a specific goal to improve my English capacity. There’s one friend of mine who travels to Europe on her own every summer. She gives me a great inspiration for my goal that I could encourage myself to obtain the ability to speak fluent English in order to go organize a tour to Europe all by myself as well.

In this case, I would take steps to achieve my target. First of all, being used to listening to English daily radio program would be a fantastic decision for me. I choose Studio Classroom Advanced as my curriculum. Except my daily radio program, I am also thinking about watching movies with English subtitle only, it is both educational and recreational that might initiate my interest toward English learning. Eventually, my last plan is to remove Chinese completely from my daily life and to talk purely in English with my girlfriend, who I’ve already mentioned in the second paragraph.

As far as self-examination is concerned, a calculation of unknown vocabulary in the content in the magazine would be quite effective to me. Improvement on my English ability could be shown while I keep communicating with my girlfriend in English and in the meantime correcting mistakes in English usage.

In conclusion, my trip to Europe next summer would be the best evaluation for me to experience my efforts to practicing English.
